A loose biography of Jimi Hendrix, as told by Sharon Lawrence, a close friend of Hendrix when he was alive. The problem with these sorts of books is the tendency for the author to inflate the importance of their role in the subject’s life. Some of the stories are pretty hard to swallow but the book helps to paint a fuller portrait of Hendrix than can be pieced together from simply browsing Wikipedia entries.
